Another "suck it" game to Kemba haters...

WOW!!

It doesn't matter how many shots he took.

He made 50% of his shots... that's well above average.

It does matter how matter shots he took, especially when he's the PG.

He's tied with Chris Paul in point per attempt at 4th worst in the league amongst PG's. However, Paul averages double the assists per game than Kemba.

I have zero agenda against Kemba and want to like him. I'm a Stephenson fan and have actually watched most Hornets games this season. Kemba lacks a jumper and settles for too many of them while not being effective in other areas.

Kemba's explosive off the dribble and is still young. I realize Charlotte's lack of perimeter shooters hurt Kemba's APG as well. But as far as the Kemba debate goes, imo he's a middle of the pack PG right now but does have the ceiling to improve and take that next step as a PG

Alright tonight, we're going to count how many assists Kemba would have if players would hit the shots after his passes.

Would you agree Kemba is a shoot first PG?

He's 25th in FG% amongst PG's and tied in 9th in FG's attempted per game among PG's. He needs to improve offensively if he wants to continue to be a shoot first PG.

I've always thought of Kemba as a lite Tony Parker. He does everything Parker does just to a lesser extent. Very similar players as far as style. Both are quick as lightning, Parker can finish better at the rim and is more efficient, but I think Kemba can get there.

The big question for me is, is Kemba good enough to be a third option on a championship team? I think he is.

We just need our number 2, Lance. And number 1, Al to step it up.
