Yeah but innovative isn't Shula

Hell, that wasn't innovative. That was about as Shula as it gets. We ran the lamecat all game.

We barely squeaked out a win playing the safest game possible. Direct snap all game to your RB

I wish I could find some gambling establishment that would let me bet on the order play style that Shula calls.

I stick by my theory....

Jim Skipper pushes for Williams to remain the primary RB.

When both were healthy in 2011 and the start of 2012 Stewart was the favored RB. Stewart was leaned on more. More snaps in 2011 than any in the division and Williams officially benched in name also in 2012. Then 28 got hurt.

Then Skipper returned in 13 and Williams is the favored RB with both healthy to present day. It doesn't pass the eye test so it has to be pure favoritism. When things don't pass the eye test there is always a reason. Ron IMO leaves it up to the coaches. Which is a flaw of his with the O

Makes sense

I was mad too at first..but really it kind of does not matter as the offensive line cannot block for crap and I have zero confidence in the offense,.. Stewart is much better as he deserves the start..but just cuz D. Will starts does not mean he is getting most of the snaps..maybe they are trying to get a feel of ATL's defense... but to get Shula make adjustments and be the smart is not in check for this staff. Carolina picked the worst year to be a dysfunctional team as we could easily have this division for another playoff run for first time in history!! But like my beloved Cubs they have to stink it up again..Maybe we win this weekend, that would be nice.. wouldn't it Penguin??!!
