Nate Chandler, DeAngelo Williams to Start

Well, as unbelievable and scary as this may sound....maybe Chandler is better than Scott.  Which means Scott is really, really bad as opposed to just real bad.

Remember the Panthers cut him so they obviously thought Chandler was better earlier in the year.  Truthfully, it probably does not matter if Chandler or Scott start at RT.  They are both bad.

It's more about doing something to change things up. Rivera and Shula keep putting the exact same offense on the field and expecting difference results. That's insanity. Our current o-line is not working so whether or not Scott is good doesn't matter, it couldn't be worse. Same with the #2 WR. Philly should play more than Cotch and Avant, but no the veterans are much better.

You're thinking of that guy on the left side. Chandler gets touched with a pinky and he flops back like he just got shot with a 50 caliber bullet.

Actually it was more of a play on words, though guys do blow by Chandler as well.

I'll grant that bell is the more frequent 'stand and watch' blocker of the two.

It's possible, but I don't have a lot of faith in judgements and evaluations made by this coaching staff.

    • "It’s a tricky spot for Cincinnati to be in—finding a team to give up a premium pick and $30 million (or more) per year for a 31-year-old pass rusher isn’t easy," Breer wrote. "Hendrickson’s camp at one point told the Bengals they could bring home a first-rounder for him, but that hasn’t happened." After Cleveland Browns edge-rusher Myles Garrett signed a four-year, $160 million extension—with an NFL-record $123 million in guaranteed money for a non-quarterback—Cincinnati's negotiations will only get more difficult. Despite posting back-to-back 17.5-sack campaigns, one of the biggest hurdles for Hendrickson will be his age, as he’s set to turn 31 next season.
    • "The asking price for Trey Hendrickson was also very high," Wolfe said on Wednesday. "The Bengals are asking for a first-round pick and more I was told and teams are waiting that out and hoping that that market drops a little bit when the Bengals come down and maybe they can get that top pass-rusher." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25170132-trey-hendrickson-trade-rumors-bengals-seek-1st-round-nfl-draft-pick-more-deal
    • I mean, whoever the scout is in charge of knowing the Gamecocks.....clearly gets listened too.   Gotta give him credit for that.
