TNF - Bills @ Fish

Haha, you talk smack about the panthers but can't face the truth about your team. You guys are playing like sh1t and being dominated by MIA. Those penalties will not have changed the outcome.

How am I not facing reality?  I mean, you're calling out a mediocre Bills team playing like crap - not really hard to debate that.  The game ain't over but the way the calls have been going, the way both teams have been playing it's up in the air.  By up in the air, I mean like 2" above the ground.  And the ground is pavement so it could roll either way.  The wind is blowing Miami's way but they have Tannehill and he throws INT's...

Plus, this is a Miami team that shut down San Diego, has been playing very well and is not the junk Miami team that they have been.  They'd beat most NFC South teams with their D - I imagine they'd dominate New Orleans.  Their Pass D is legit.

MIA played us tough last year, we were lucky to have won that game. They almost beat the number one defense in the league in DET their last game and I am sure they will dominate any team in the NFCS.

If you've followed my posts, I am not a homer and it's obvious to me who plays well and who does not and I call it like it is.

We beat ya'll too last year.

Looking at last year to this year is not going to work with this Miami team.  Looking at the first 3 or 4 weeks won't even work.  Miami has got their offense firing successfully, playing dink and dunk possession ball.  They're going to make the playoffs as the 5th or 6th seed.  They're not going to lose very many the rest of this season and they may go somewhere and win in the playoffs.  They could beat Indy, they could pull a huge upset with this D and beat Denver...

You guys beat us before Riverboat Ron. It's kinda like saying that saying we would beat DET now because we beat them early in the season. You guys were not better than us last year.

But yeah, I like what i am seeing from this MIA team.

How do you feel about Orton? Do you think you guys will go anywhere with him at the helm? Honestly, just curious

Answering your question literally, yes.  We will continue to get better with Orton but the chain will be as strong as your weakest link.  Orton has a limited cieling - many other players on this offense do not.  If we upgrade our OL this offseason we can hold off on getting a QB and make do while still getting better with Orton on the roster.  In 2015 we can roll with Orton or still fall back on Manuel, but in 2016, with any luck, we can get ourselves a QB in the first and let him step in to a highly talented offense.

But, in response to just Orton.  We really like him.  His attitude is very fitting in our atmosphere; blue collar, low key, smart football and tough.  He doesn't whine or back down - doesn't complain or show emotions.  He comes in and plays his best.  There has been a lot put out about him in our media that talks about his past.  His trade to Denver for Cutler then being benched in favor of The Golden Calf of Bristol despite leading a good team there.  Then being sent to KC for nothing and wanting out to going to Dallas and being treated like crap.  He hated it in Dallas and forced his way out.

This is a great article on him; he really is quite a fascinating man.  Despite not agreeing with his political viewpoints it is very noble that he is so well versed and educated on his philosophies and beliefs.

We do not hold out hope he will get us over the hump, to win us the big one but we know he is a capable QB that will help us win some ball games as we get better.  It will be another year until we really are strong enough to make a push and by then we will not have Tom Brady to play against.

Scoreboard matters, opinion does not.  It is a cold, harsh truth because I really believe our team is better then many scoreboards this year.  I think much of it is the OL and the rest of it on the sidelines.
