Likewise, I expect coaches to be vague about things, especially when talking about injuries.

 

Rivera's BS is probably a step or two beyond "vague", honestly.  But what worries me about it isn't so much that he's telling us stuff which you can see isn't true.  What I'm bothered by is that in some cases, I worry that he genuinely believes it.

honestly life is too short to have to deal with this kind of frustration. you just have to question sometimes is it actually worth it?

i'm not giving up yet, but if this mess doesn't get straight heading into next year i might feel differently. i'm just getting tired and this has been a very rough year. i needed the panthers to help make the year more tolerable, but it hasn't been at all. fortunately i still have my wife, 7 year old daughter, and now 3 month old daughter to help. i guess i should have been satisfied. with that.

Get real man. If you don't think DA would love to be the starter you are insane. You've seen them interact as teammates which is nothing more than how you would see any employees interact. We all do our best to get along with fellow coworkers it doesn't make us close. You are doing what everyone is doing and reading what you want into this. Don't fool yourself, DA would start every day over Cam and not feel bad for one second.

Cam "hurt" or "injured," the bottom line is the REST of the team hasn't really stepped up at all either. Even if Cam is 100%, if he's not getting the protection he needs, and the defense is lousy, we can't win games ... I know QBs get the glory and take the blame, but remember, this is a team sport. Everybody has to be on his game.

gettleman doesn't have to say anythi g to the public, but he should stop his moronic coaches from throwing their franchise QB under the bus.

when this season is over, i fully expect gettleman to own his mistakes in regards to the OL and secondary. and i expect him to make it right.
