The only way I abandon the Panthers is if they pack up and leave the Carolinas!Hell,they could move to Raleigh,charleston or Columbia and I'd still be a Panther fan,outside of these 2 states,forget it!

I imagine you're in your 20's or lower.  Anyone in their mid 30's or below may not even get it, though.  Anyone over 35 should know it.

only reason I would ever jump ship is if the Panthers moved from Charlotte to another state

To be fair, I would just watch football to watch football at that point.  It's not that bad, I really enjoyed watching just football in general last Sunday.  Grabbed a few beers with the fellas, drank a little whiskey, it was relaxing discussing football with no bias what so ever.

Germany officially declared war on the US on December 11th, not on the 7th.

Well, the US claimed that they didn't want ANY part of the war whatsoever. Yet, smuggling supplies to an enemy wasn't exactly neutral. The US knew they'd eventually join the fight. Meddling into foreign affairs is a staple for us. After all, it's a massive reason why Islamic extremists are coming after us today.

That and western civilization united those of Arab descent by taking Palestine away. I though dude meant that the bombing happened on December 11th.

This is the type of season where you find out real fans of a team. sadly Panther fans find this out every 2 or 3 years.

Real fans know that our owner cares more about the league and the bottom dollar than the team, that is a fact. The love of our city/state/region and the game itself keeps us in, but it is an insanely bitter pill to swallow.

Fans do not realize that most owners care most about the bottom line. This is their money and their business.

It is entertainment for fans....it is business for players and owners.
