It's becoming very clear to me

That this has been the plan all along, which is sad. We have all been suckered into thinking we were on the cusp of greatness, when in reality, this is 2010 all over again with a different cast of players. Think about it.

O-Line- they made zero improvements to the line in the offseason

Secondary- patchwork, and riddled with people who should be found in a retirement homes playing Bingo or eating pudding on Sunday afternoons, not NFL fields

WR corps (if u can call it that)- nailed the Benjamin pick, but the rest of them are bodies filling a position and nothing more

Those 3 glaring issues that were not addressed should have and did raise huge red flags! We didn't want to see it, especially coming off a 12-4 season, but the writing was on the wall. This was the plan for the 2014 season. It's almost as if Gettleman and Co sat back and said, let's see what happens, but what we're fielding this year, should almost guarantee us a top 10 draft pick.

That's right gents, it's 2010 all over again. What's more, it may be worse than that. Our franchise QB is now being thrown under the bus by nameless sources within the organization, and the HC makes comments like "IF* he's gonna be our QB moving forward" <----- ummmm, excuse me? This whole situation stinks somin foul!

The real problem that I'm sure we all have, is that we were so damned close last year! I don't give a flying F#%k what Gettleman thinks! He may have been surprised at our success saying "who would thought we would have went in a run like this" and my answer to that is every single player in that locker room, and every poster in this community. It's sad, that our GM dismantled that group (I understand the cap issues, and what the FAs got) but damn man, 12-4 in this League is no fluke, especially with the schedule we had last year.

Alas, here we sit at 3-6-1 and no reason to think or believe that we will turn it around other than an alleged "soft schedule". The schedule isn't the problem, it's the team, it's beating itself every week. I saw an interesting quote from AJ Klein after the game on Monday night that I haven't mentioned. He was quoted as saying "we just have to stick together". A comment like that is troubling to me, in that it almost signifies some type of division with the team or the locker room. We haven't heard any rumblings in the media, especially not like the Harbaugh saga in SF, but fans here have speculated that Rivera has lost the locker room. I'm not sure either way, but with the recent comments about Cam from staff members, there's smoke, and where there's smoke, there's fire!

I've never been one to think that Cam would ever go anywhere, and I still want to believe that, but I'm just no so sure. What I am almost certain of though, is that the FO has sabotaged this season on purpose. I don't know if they're trying to get a high pick and trade back to stock pile picks or what.

What WE all know, is that they planned to put a mediocre product on the field every Sunday and maybe hoped for lightning in a bottle 2 years in a row, but really expected what we are and what we will surely become in the coming weeks. A bottom dwelling team in this League. I have seen no reason to believe that we can or will turn this around. I will continue to watch every Sunday for as long as my stomach can stand it, and I will still pull for all the "right" teams to lose weekly until we're mathematically out of it.

I'm disappointed with the Organization from the top down. Only a handful of players play with passion. I hope this grand plan they have works, and I'm trying to look at the big picture, but it doesn't look good.

What do you guys think? I said a lot, and am hoping for some good honest discussion

The only people being suckered are the ones who buy into this dumbass theory that this season is all according to some sinister plan.

funny how it seemed like a good majority of the people realized a long time ago there would be a pretty significant drop off from last year. now that it is happening, yes at an alarming rate, but there are people acting all surprised.
