Lol at Steve Smith Doing a Great Job Trolling Us.

Personally I think Steve Smith poisoned the well to force his release here primarily because he did want to go on a 5 million dollar vacation.  I didn't start this thread because I am a Steve Smith homer.  I started it because it's funny how hard he's still trying to troll us.  All his antics say to me is.......he still wishes he was a Panther and he doesn't know how to handle it.

Pretty much it's my belief that the only people/ organizations that can make you angry are people/organizations that you wish accepted and wanted you.

Steve is doing what Steve does and has been doing for as long as he has been in the NFL.

Truth is DG did Steve a solid by letting him ply his trade with a team that might actually do something this season.

I hope Steve is not so blinded by his emotions that he is unable to appreciate how fortunate he is to be off the Panthers' merry-go-round of mediocrity.

And with a massive raise.

Old, washed up receiver whose production has fallen off a cliff since he played us and whose team is currently in last place in their division tries trolling another team. Film at 11.

Love it.

The Ravens are 6-4 to our 3-6-1.

Smitty has 49 receptions for 728 yards which projects to ~ 80 receptions for 1300 yards by years end.

If you've been watching the Panthers on Sundays and missed Smitty on game day fear not.

We will all have plenty of time to watch 89sr come Playoff time.

you must be reading something else than what was on the link. not much there, certainly nothing making an %$# of himself.

I don't know why Steve feels the need to continue to talk about the Panthers. We played them 6 weeks ago and we released him 6 months ago. It's time to move on. And it doesn't do him any favors when he does talk about us. Even if unintentionally, his statements sometimes alienate the very fans that supported him for more than a decade. It's not cool, it's not professional, and it's not necessary any more.

I also thought it was a bit tacky for him to talk about the money.

he was asked , most people respond when asked about a situation. Nothing to see here. Sounds like he has toned things down a lot.

that "solid" was accidental as G-man thought he was doing us a solid and thought we would be a better team for it.

You make the same argument that some do about slaves and ending up in a better place.
