It almost sounds like there's a war between the players and the coaches. The coaches finished losing the locker room after Monday, and now I doubt we're going to win another game for the rest of the season.

Honestly, I think Ron started losing the players after he blamed KB for the loss to Seattle. Every week since then he blames another player for yet another loss. I wouldn't blame the players if they stopped caring after that.

I agree, I don't believe that we will win another game. I believe the players are actively signing Rivera and crews pink slip. We will see lethargic, poor performances from the entire team for the duration. They likely want to make sure that JR and DG have no choice but to clean house and bring in competent coaches that won't throw them under the bus after every loss. I would love to hear some of the private conversations between the players. I believe that the locker room is divided between the coaches and players. The coaching staff has officially lost the confidence and support of the players. Good bye riverboat. This season can't end soon enough. The good news is that we are looking at a top 5 pick.

I am as die hard as they come, but....You would think that a Franchise/organization/company, who has endured Sea-fart, Chuck smith, Ray Carruth, Fred lane, 1-15, intentionally scaled down team before lockout, 2-14, Lefors, Vinny, Carr, Pickles, Eric Shelton, Rashard Anderson,Jake's -franchise breaking 6 turnovers in a playoff game- meltdown, etc....Would eventually GET IT. Well, to be fair, "Panthers official" is a pretty broad term. I'd like to know who it actually is.

The concessions stand dude? The laundry lady? The janitor? Maintenance man? Seems like great sources to me. Yeah, let's run with that article. One can hope. Because if this is valid, the wheels are coming off the bus and we're screwed.

what garbage. If I was Cam, I would have been throwing stuff and slamming stuff in the first quarter but I would have left that cluster-fug at half-time and gone home. No matter how positive your view of things is, a pile of dog poo is a pile of dog poo. Points to Cam for not saying "fug it, I'm done" after the first half.

Newton obviously needs to play better, but at this point, all of our players look to simply be going through the motions. You question where Newton's leadership is, but what about our other players? It is a team sport, and at this point it looks like the coaches have lost the players.

Cam is not above criticism. He has not played well of late and made some very poor decisions.  Some of it is very hard to determine if the decision was his or the coaches... some of it (like the INT on the 2nd drive Monday night) is obviously Cam screwing up.

 

What I don't get is the big "if" about him being hurt.  idk what goes on at the stadium, behind closed doors, or with the coaching staff... Cam may have some attitude issues, but I find it extremely difficult to believe that AT THE BARE he's not injured enough to be affecting his play.
