Ron is live!

I've defended Ron up until this morning, even through last nights ass reaming, but this guy has got to go.

I realize you aren't going to say yeah our team is dogshit at a presser, but he needs to be saying yes, changes are coming for those not doing their jobs.

Then why make stupid statements like that.  I am sure he is saying plenty in private.  Why is it important for him to tell you in public.

He said last night he had to coach better. Said his staff needed to as well. He also advised playcalls certainly could have been an issue

Did he say this directly, or are you paraphrasing? He said there could have been different play calls, but that seemed pretty indirect.

" I have to coach better. Coaches have got to coach better. We have to practice better"

" We have to give him a chance up front. We have to give him a chance with some of our protections, and like I said, I’m not going to indict anybody until after I get a chance to look at [the tape]. It could have been the calls, too.”

Ron isn't good to blast his staff or players at a presser. That wouldn't make him a better coach.

i dont waste my time watching these pressers really, so i dont care what he says to hurry up and get them over with. and none of us know what he really thinks or says behind closed doors. all we know is that he/the staff hasnt had our team prepared for 5 of the 10 games we have played this year.

yes our o line is terrible, but we have to figure out a way to minimize the damage every week and we are still doing the same crap we have been doing every other week.

Sadly, half the time the Panthers video player doesn't even work.

The problem isn't just him acknowledging it.

He needs to actually start processing it, and implementing real changes that could actually work to correct these issues. We've already changed position coaches, but we're still seeing the same mental errors, poor/slow play calling, and just plain piss poor gameday management.

As a head coach, Rivera cannot simply improve. He either takes on step forward, and two steps back, or just several steps back altogether.

Just so you know, I pulled the quotes off Voth's site. He puts them up.
