Cam Newton established another record Monday night, becoming the first QB ever to get sacked 9 times, throw a couple picks and cough up a fumble.

 

On a more serious note, he has been sacked 153 times in his relatively short 3 1/2 season career. Among active QBs, he passed Chad Henne, who has been in the league 3 seasons longer than Newton; and he passed Kyle Orton, who is playing in his 10th NFL season. 

 

Of the 54 currently active QBs in the league who have taken a sack, Cam Newton is #22... after just 3 1/2 seasons.
