Not really. Most people in the media tell me it is awful play calling.

we find the things we are looking for and that is something you have harped on for over a year.  So of course that is what you heard when that is what you are looking for.  How come all these talking heads aren't writing it about in articles or saying it on the radio or on TV??

That's good. Nonetheless, for some reason, it appears most in the National Media are loathe to publicly criticize the Panthers coaches. And instead pick on the players, and mostly Cam.

 

When you listen to Charlotte Radio, Cam, Rivera, Shula, Gettleman, hell even JR receive blame. However, the national media almost exclusively focuses on Cam (especially before or after a game), and virtually no one else. You very rarely hear in depth analysis outside of Charlotte on what ails the Panthers.

 

At least Gruden, kept pointing out the poor coaching, schematic decisions during last nights game last night.

Too bad fans of other teams that hate Cam (for whatever reason) decided to blame it all on him.  

 

Last night actually( cause Im on other websites than just Panthers) a lot of opposing fans saw other glaring issues like Shula, oline and the lost of steve smith so forth and so on

 

Saints fans thought it was hilarious how Panthers fans(Im separate here) really believed in the signing of harper and decoud. Others thought it was hilarious how Panthers fans(Im separate here again) thought the team didn't lose much in the WR department

He couldn't have known Hardy would get suspended though.

I do agree that the Hardy tag was kind of a luxury signing for us however, even before the suspension. When he plays, he's clearly a great player, but did we really need nearly $30M invested in the Dline when it means having DeCoud/Harper at safety and Bell/Chandler at tackle?

He knew tagging Hardy could have consequences. That is why Gettleman fronted hardy 1 million dollars so he could keep him close. There was a report about it around the time he franchised him. He said that was one of the main reasons he fronted him the money so that tells me our front office didn't trust hardy and look what happens.

I get what you're saying.  I watched the game with a Jets fan that doesn't not too much about our team or the Jets for that matter.  He was in shock at how bad our offensive line was.

Gettleman had over 13 million to spend he chose to waste it on hardy and pocket the rest the hurney excuses have to stop he is part of the problem and so is Gettleman thus far

 

I agree.  Though I believe Rivera had something, or even a lot to do with Hardy being given the franchise tag.  Yet definitely we had money to work with.  Even now there are people who justify giving Hardy the tag, when we knew full well our O-line was in shatters with Gross retiring and even Wharton retiring.  We knew full well this dumb staff would likely try Bell at LT if we didn't bring in anyone halfway decent.  Yet people still applaud the front office for giving Hardy the tag?  That's sad.
