So, my 9 year old

Rarely do I let him stay up late on a school night but I did last night.  I told him he could watch the game until Dad got ticked off and turned off the TV.  

 

A couple of things happened last night that set reality in for me.  The first was obvious.  My son asked me "Why did Newton throw a long pass on 4th and 1?"  I literally laughed out loud, not at him of course but because this has all become somewhat of a joke for me.  

 

Later, in the 2nd half the game obviously over and once again my 9 year old says " That coach isn't mad or fussing at those players he just stands there"  The camera was on RR.  Again, I laughed at the clarity my 9 year old has, I laughed because I felt this little fella gets it, he gets it and people who make more money than I'll ever dream to make doesn't get it.  

 

Well, my boy ended up going to bed about 10 after midnight because I didn't turn the game off.  I simply could not stop watching the train wreck, I was on and there was an accident and I had to just tap my breaks and stare at it.  

 

My opinion?  Everyone needs to be fired, including Prohl, he's been given a pass here on the Huddle but our WR's constantly make critical drops, forget to run their routes and give up on plays.  That's on him.  

 

Ron Rivera?  He's fugging clueless.  It starts with him.

I was watching the game with some friends last night and before we ran the 4th and 1 play they're like oh newton will get this easy no problem I told them watch we're going to throw a 30 yard pass to cotchery and hey guess what happened? Idk if shula was the one that told cam to take a shot or if it was just cam spazzing out but that sh#t has to stop. Newton should be able to get 1 yd on a qb sneak tom fuging brady has made a career of it yet we do dumb sh#t like throw it deep to cotchery...this is why we're 3-6-1 dumbass calls like that
