A talented QB

Would realize that he's getting no blocking and get rid of the ball quicker.

Watch Brady and Manning next week. Sometimes they wait a few seconds to throw the ball, but sometimes they throw it almost immediately.

If I have 2 pieces of bread and some peanut butter, I don't try to eat steak. I deal with what I have.

If I have two pieces of bread & some peanut butter I don't try to eat steak either... but I also don't blame the butter knife because there's no jelly.

As much as I get on Cam, I don't think I have ever seen (in all the years I have been watching football) an organization hang a young QB out to dry like this one has. Your statement would be correct if Cam was under "regular" circumstances. This isn't even regular circumstances, What kind of organization gives a young QB the worst O-line in NFL history, one of the worst WR core, and absolutely no playmakers that can make somebody miss? Even with weapons, I still don't think Cam would be a consistent QB, but I will never know because we hook him up with sh*t for weapons.

We are in full meltdown mode.  Good god people you really think the issue is Cam?

I missed the first half.  After we got the ball in the second half.  They showed that clip of Cam getting sacked one after another.  The offensive line looked like anything but a line how in the world would anyone be able to get the ball out in time.

We have other issues by far before you saddle the blame on Cam.

There's always a checkdown. You can always audible. Or you can wait til the guy you want comes open. Jake always had a "Look to me" called.

Or you could admit that our QB isn't good enough to figure this out.

If anything you posted had a shred of credibility, the bolded part destroyed it.  There is not always a checkdown.  You only need to watch the games to see that.  This is the beauty of a Mike Shula run offense.

Or you could admit you know nothing about football and/or don't actually watch the games.

Yes there's always a checkdown with 2 seconds to pass the ball.

Jesus Christ do you people even think about what you're typing?

He obviously doesn't understand that a checkdown is for when you've gone through your progressions and no one is open, not "oh poo they're in my face almost before the ball is in my hands."

    • so i am not exactly sure what game you are even talking about but now the best i can remember Canleas forgot to run the ball after we had already established the run earlier in the game & why Canales elected to do this after the run game had been so effective previously in the game is simply just bad coaching or either Canales was taking what the defense was giving him at that point & time in the game & elected not to run against a stacked box .either or a strong run game takes defensive coverage away from the recievers making it easier to pass the ball ...just saying
    • 3 of Bryce’s most recent games since he was benched puts him at I think #1, #3, and #4 for those weeks out of all QBs in the NFL per PFF. #1 being this week against the cardinals. I think he’s playing better than you are giving him credit for.
    • You guys do realize that there are good and bad 4-3 defenses right? Switching to a 4-3 won't magically make us better . Nostalgia withstanding.
