We have no offense. No defense. No special teams. This is Gettleman's fault and he should be fired.

really it'd be cool if he could go back in time and change Hurneys draft picks and also sign good players with the massive amount of cap space Hurney blew on garbage but since that isn't going to happen we actually have to wait until he has a full term of draft picks along with the cap space to sign players he wants rather than whoever he can afford

It would be cool if DG could go back and change some of his

Decision this off-season. ..

Hardy rental

signing garbage FA'S

not drafting OT

letting Smith go for nothing

Trai Turner has missed 3 games and counting with this injury. What has he done to prove anything? Because PFF said he had a couple of decent games early in the season when the rest of the team was clicking?

Trai T is a beast dude, has looked like one since training camp, preseasing and right into the regular season. I mean it's obvious you are just trying to be completely biased to bitch about DG when you try to lay into a 3rd round ROOKIE for all things for missing a few games with injury when he looked like a total stud and will most likely be an above average starter (at worst) for years to come

Yea that'll happen when you have Hurney as your GM.....thanks for promoting my point(s) though.

No it's just an excuse for Panther FO slurpers. They never change whether it's Hurney or Gettleman they're slurping. Teams like the Broncos and Cardinals and Cowboys have less cap space than us, remind me how their seasons are turning out so far.

He's looked pretty good when he's been in.  So has Norwell.  Bene Benwikere too.

Are you honestly even reading what I'm posting? I'm not laying into Turner at all. I'm saying the jury is out on him. You're going about saying he's already a solid starter and a fantastic pick by Gettleman. I'm just saying that's too soon to say. Kelvin Benjamin was looking like Randy Moss early in the year and I'd say he's taken a nosedive since then. Trai Turner has too small of a sample size.

1) the Hardy thing he had no real way to forsee, i mean if he had let Hardy go for nothing (as you complain about letting Smith go for nothing) and he was tearing it up on another team then everyone would be bitching about that

2) yeah, the bargain basement all-we-can-afford type FAs this year have been garbage. I agree with that and already said that earlier, no excuses

3) don't see any OT worth drafting over any of our earlier picks, maybe 6th rounder but OK whatever, never gonna bitch about a 6th rounder FFS

4) zero trade value

so too small of a sample size to say anyone is good? but perfectly fine to say they are terrible and DG should be fired for bringing them in LOLOLOLOLOL

Scrubs like Roman Harper and Cason have proven they can't play and have continued to prove that as Panthers. I'd say the sample sizes for these free agents are pretty huge and known. Not true for the rookies.

The amount of cap space available doesn't really mean much it's WHERE the money is invested in...you do need to be reminded of some pretty simple things there chap.

Neither of those 3 teams are paying 2 RBs RB1 money and only Dallas has stupid dead money like us, which is made up for by Murray's production coming with a 1.5 mil hit. But feel free to make a valid point concerning our cap....anytime now...

I do think he's made some bad decisions, though, with the 'collaborative approach' probably being the biggest one.

I get the whole 'not wanting to come in and fire everybody' thing, but the truth is he left a lot of people in place that should have been given their walking papers.

And the sad truth is that Rivera is one of them.

In fairness JR told Dave he could not fire Rivera. I think his mind may change though.

1. From all reports they didn't trust Hardy to do a long-term deal with before the incident. .. So why franchise (rent) his services for 1 year for 13 million. When you're screaming "we're broke"..

2. James Hurst in the 6th S Henderson in the 7th maybe Morgan Moses over Ealy (Everett Brown 2. 0) in the 2nd round. Again no team in a NFL HISTORY has went into a season with more Un-drafted Olinemen then drafted ones. And no team in NFL HISTORY has went into a season with no drafted OT on the roster.. So Dave made history with this poo..... clap clap clap....

3. We are paying Smith more to play in Baltimore then Baltimore is... How smart is that???

So the Cowboys have a poo ton of dead money too and yet are in a prime position to make a deep playoff run as long as Romo's back doesn't collapse. My my, how can that be?

I do recall that the decision to keep Rivera was indeed made before Gettleman was hired.

But given that Gettleman hasn't really fired anyone to date (unless you count changing scouting services) I doubt Rivera was in much danger.
