Don't buy into the hype that he knows what he's doing because you see him talk and you think Tony Soprano. Dave Gettleman is an idiot that was passed over time after time for GM opportunities because competent owners knew he wasn't the right man for the job.

 

We have no depth anywhere. The best free agent signed this offseason was literally Joe Webb.

 

What he has done this year is set this team back to 2010 Clausen/Fox/Lockout levels. And for what? Did a 12-4 NFC South winning team really need imploding?

Absolutely, love him or hate him, Gettleman is getting at least 4 years to make this his roster.

 

Firing him prior to that, and we look like the Raiders. I'm by no means happy right now, but I'm holding out before I raise the pitchfork.

Double Trouble being on our roster sucks, but it's really hilarious how he struck out on all of the FA signings.

 

last year he took chances on young players (mitchell) and they paid off. this year he went after players who are known to be awful and it hurt us, badly.

 

we are in a very very very bad spot right now.

 

rivera was just extended last year, so i'm not entirely convinced he will be gone. i would have fired him before last year tbh. he just clearly does not have what it takes to be a HC, and there's no debating it.

 

shula will most definitely be gone. i would have never hired him... anyone with a brain never would have hired him. no point in talking about how awful this guy is because we all know.

 

gettleman absolutely will not be fired. i've questioned pretty much every single move he's made this past offseason and as it turns out he was wrong on every single one. he seems to have an old school philosophy, which scares me a little. i think he'll bring in an old school coach, and i don't believe that fits our team, more specifically our QB.

 

mcdermott, IMO, is just there. he hasn't been particularly awful (although his prevent defense right before the half giving away free points does get frustrating sometimes) and he hasn't been great. he did coach that nasty defense from last year though, so i don't hate him too much. great coaches are able to coach around deficiencies, though, and it's hard to tell how well he's done this year because it's been a complete poo show.

At this point, it is what it is. There's too much stupid going on here right now and I'm sick of it. This place has gotten out of hand with the ridiculous bandwagon jumping.
