Difference in the first few games offensively to the last few games. Teams are shading coverage towards Benji and taking away Olsen, leaving other WR's single covered because they aren't afraid of anyone else. Cam literally has no time to throw and when he's got time....there's no one to throw too. You can see this in the 22 and check the LB's covering the underneath zones and check the shading techniques. 

 

Basically - blitz carolina and shade toward Olsen and Benji and you win because that's all the offense has.

This isn't the same player I once thought would be the goat. Once a QB loses IT, they never get it back.

 

Cam is 6'5 250lbs and a good football player. I am disappointed he has let the hits get into his head. It's difficult for me to see the Panthers without him but it's clear his supporting cast has not been at all stellar.

 

In hind sight it was a terrible decision the way we pursued offensive changes during the offseason.

Same mindset with Cam. The guy is clearly INJURED and has been hit so many times he might actually be dazed out there, but hey, you're not going to wonder why he looks NOTHING like he normally does, you just see an opportunity to express what you've always thought.

If Cams had 10 days off and is still in such bad shape he can't outrun a defensive lineman or throw the ball more than 40 yards downfield he needs to hang it up for the season and we can take our chances with DA.

 

That's a better scenario than him getting fugged up forever.

Cam thinks he is playing madden. Staring down receivers, completely zero pocket presence. I'm a Cam guy all along, but I'm starting to question his decision making on top of his mechanics. Online played ok. Besides the Dwill missed blitz ... all sacks could have been avoided with quicker decisions

If you remove QBs from all offenses in the NFL and compare teams.....we are very weak

We have ways to operate with what we have but if you watch other teams you'd know this, your'e just too used to Panther ball.

You have to consider the ramifications if you bench Newton.

You will have a full blown QB controversy if Anderson comes in and plays well.

I thought we wanted to win? I can't believe I'm saying it, but we need a change. The season is over, no reason to play Cam anymore. Fire the staff and hire somebody to fix his ass.
