So who still believes in the Panthers this season?

With all the doom and gloom around here lately and rightfully so, I wanted to find out who still believes in the Panthers chances of making the playoffs this season.

 

I would like to say that I do. Then again I am a generally very optimistic person.

But it probably means beating them in New Orleans.

We had those couple of seasons with Foxy where we had a chance to make the playoffs at 8-8, 9-7 if we won our last couple of games or so.  I don't have that feeling with Rivera.  Firstly, this offensive line reeks something foul.  Why should I get my hopes up, if Bell gets beat like a drum constantly, or if all our undrafted lineman can't hang. (Norwell is a pleasant surprise, but Rivera will take him out to start Amini, who should have been undrafted)  I can't begin to be hopeful with Newton being sacked every other play.  A win would be a start, but Rivera's crew just doesn't cut it for me.  Cam is your franchise QB, and you essentially ignored placing talent around him for four years?  Come on man.

AS of today, I feel we don't deserve to be in the playoffs nor should RR even speak on it. "One game at a time" at this point without the obvious changes really translates to the art of ignorance. I love my team and still hope they turn it around but in reality maybe embarrassment would bring about changes faster. Who knows at this point? I do believe in the players (for the most part) but I don't believe in RR and certainly not Shula. Shula makes my left eye twitch! RR makes me right twitch. RR/Gett would likely piss me off by replacing the OC with another PS player. If we lose to the Bucs, I'm wearing a helmet during the remaining games. At least the walking dead is in season.... I feel better now! Get pounded, I mean keep pounding! 

 

and btw Philly will NOT be a easy game by any means even without Foles.

The only way I see us have a realistic shot at the playoffs is if we only lose one more game for the remainder of the season, because I don't see the Saints losing very many with the way they are playing. As much as I hate to say it, I don't have faith in this team (as of now) to pull something like that off. It's not impossible, but I don't like our chances unless we drastically improve our level of play.
