Hornets Vs Hawks Game Thread

Kemba was used primarily as a decoy. There's a reason you have got to watch out for the guy inbounding the basketball.

You're right that play did have options which is the point. In basketball there must be the threat of a pass to create space.

There is a difference between running an out of bounds play with 2.5 seconds and taking the final shot with 10 or 15 seconds left.

I will stop, but all I am saying is that Kemba iso is likely going to be run in last possession situations. So people need to deal with it or properly prepare themselves for dissapointment

When Lance gets his offensive mojo, he's going to be the value signing of the year.  The dude's play on defense and the boards is exceptional and he and Roberts seem to be the only players on the team that can pass the ball well.  He will be a truly complete player on a team where we have a good number of guys that are good on one end of the court but not the other.

Disappointment is probably the correct word.

Teeray....already told you we agree that Kemba is going to get the majority of the last shots.  If you think Clifford is going to mix it up on occasion though I think you might be mistaken.  Even MJ unloaded to Kerr sometimes.  Just watch.  Kemba will get most of the last second shots, but watch.

Remember I was right about Hairston.

I wasn't wrong about Hairston.

But you are correct that others can get shots off of iso and pick and roll. But that depends on what defense does and decisions Kemba makes not what Clifford is doing. Kemba in iso does not mean Kemba has to be the one to shoot it

I am just saying that end game situations will likely be Kemba in iso or pick and roll. There is still options in iso for other people, but defense has to help off someone who isn't a terrible shooter

It seems like we are arguing but saying the same thing for the most part. ;P

Basketball debates are pretty fun and less volatile then debating football.
