I think with him just getting an extension, if we finish 7-8-1 he stays but with coordinator changes.

8-7-1 or better he stays and coordinators may stay too

I never liked Rivera much but i could deal bc the players played hard for him. He looks so dumb on the sideline, i would love to have an offensive mind that appears to always have ideas and solutions.

I think it depends on his record. He may be loyal but not so loyal that if Getts ask him to replace his coordinators he would rather be fired himself than replace them

No matter what happens, a change at OC is absolutely necessary.  The D is playing much better in recent weeks.  That's Rivera's specialty.  I'd be fine with giving Ron another year, but he absolutely has to make changes on the offensive staff.  I'm not sure that Shula is the only one that needs to go.

Disagree. We just extended him. That takes some heat off and him out of the hottest possible tier.

So does his joke of an OL, rebuilt WR corp and the fact he lost Hardy.

I feel that Ron Rivera will be back next year but on the hot seat,in a do or die situation.  My Christmas wish is for  Shula to be gone as soon as this screwed up season ends.

I have always considered Rivera to be a real good LB coach and a decent DC,just not sure he will be a good HC in the NFL, long term. He is making mistakes this year that he shouldn't and seems to have slipped back into the old Ron Rivera we knew,instead of the  River Boat Ron he became, late last year.
