Hornets vs. Heat Game Thread

That's the game we need from Kemba every night out. If he can do what he did tonight on a continuous basis, there's no reason he can't be a top PG. When he tries to play hero ball he's highly ineffective. He played within his game and fed the big man. That's what we need. Lance will get the pressure off himself and his contract as time goes on. He's trying to play hero ball too. MKG coming back will only help. Was encouraged by what we got from Zeller tonight too. If we can get some minutes from him we'll be just fine.

Shaky fourth which is all I really got to see at the gym. Just have to make me nervous on a nightly basis. However I never saw a bobs game on at the gym, much less about ten people standing around watching the last few minutes. I walked on the tread mill the last eight minutes of the game instead of heading home

I wonder how much of an impact Vonleh will have this year. If he does produce this year we will have one heck of a bench, Neal is going to have a great year, Hendo, Zeller, PJ and Roberts are solid back ups.

Vonleh will likely barely if ever see the court this season.

Part of me wishes we would send him to the D-League so he can play. With our early schedule there aren't any hard practices and he isn't gaining much sitting on the bench.

Vonleh was the right pick, but he is a guy we have to be patient with, he is a baby, and he will eventually come into his own and be a really good player.

But he is the type of guy that we may have to give a second contract to, even if he isn't a huge factor his first 4 years.

I hope our management is patient and he works his tail off. His skill set is so good I think he will develop into a really good player. But judging from summer league, he isn't mentally or physically ready yet.

Yes. If Kemba shoots 83% from the field, 100% from the FT line, and has a 7/1 assist to turnover ratio every game he will be a pretty good PG

I agree with you. I believe he will need a few years to develop skills and gain some weight to fill out his frame. I still think he could have a chance to come off the bench for a small amount of time. He can block shots and shoot jumpers so I could see us using him in certain situations.
