The Amini experiment has to be close to being wrapped up. About time to just call a bust a bust and move on. I'm fine with giving him another full offseason, but we should be playing our 5 best OL right now and Amini isn't one of them, which is sad considering he's a former 2nd round pick and this may be the worst collective NFL OL I've ever seen.

Amini looked alright when he had Gross next to him.

Then again, a lot of the folks harping on how terrible he has been this season are the same sofa scouts that said Chandler was our LT of the future.

Amini is pretty damn good.... He is athletic enough to get out and powerful enough to be an impact blocker. I have no problems with our guards.. still young dudes with potential.

 

Wish we had a bruiser at RT and a nimble MFer at LT to keep Cam Jordan and pass rushers with speed off Cams blind spot.

I just hope this isn't another game determined by our very first drive. If we drive down the field and score a TD I think we'll win this game. But if we get to the redzone and fail it'll probably doom us like it always does.

amini is probably our worst lineman. velasco is better and even scott.

 

I think Velasco may be an upgrade in run blocking but he often gets bull rushed into Cams lap when he pass blocks it's really the reason why Cam can't step up in the pocket at times.

I don't think Norwell should be on the bench. If we have to sit a tackle like Chandler or Bell and let Amini or Norwell play tackle so be it.
