like the two wr's that are on pace for over 1,200 yards this year that were both on the team last year and barely put up half those numbers.

 

we have a great weapon in Olsen who has barely been targeted the last two games against teams who have struggled covering TE's.

It would have either been the current offensive line + one or two better receivers or the current slow ass receiving corps + like Anthony Collins. And the defense just as shitty because some other team was paying hardy to play ps4 at home. Sign me up!

well he knew it was pretty obvious the secondary was going to take a bad hit and the best bet was to keep the top defensive front in tact. even in retrospect, it is hard for me to say this was a bad decision. sometimes you swing and miss.

It's not all about that.

It's about Hardy's long history of poor decisions and other things that are known. All of it adds up to him not being worth the risk.

 

Greg Hardy may not be worth the risk to the Panthers but you can bet your bottom dollar a lot of teams will be willing to risk taking  a chance and sign  him ,despite his previous history.

 When a player is as talented as Greg Hardy, the personal issues often take a back seat,i feel this will be the case with him..

As much as I'm trying to put Smitty's performance this season behind me, if we did the same with Greg I don't think I could take it.

at least with Smith, he is on the tail end of his career while Hardy is entering his prime.

Suppose he is innocent and that our GM, coach, and team leadership communicate to him that they believe he is innocent. Greg might be willing to go ahead and sign a team-friendly deal with us. That could be a very good scenario going forward.

Guys that can produce 15 sacks in a season are incredibly hard to come by, as evidenced by the fact that it's our franchise record.
