Some hard evidence why Shula needs to be fired now.

Shula isn't horrible but OK doesn't get you far in a competitive league with creative playcallers across from you every week. Sean Payton was very confident they would come in and beat us. Their record wasn't even better than ours but since when has a Carolina coach exuded such confidence? Payton probably got a lot of laughs looking at our offensive playcalling.

firing him now would be bad for the team in that it would say to the players that he was at fault and not them. i know it's easy to blame the OC and all likelihood if the season plays out, he will be excused, but bad blocking, running, passing and catching have all been worse than the play calling this year. blaming the play caller is a cop-out without facing the problem head on. i think ron has been worse than shula to be honest. i understand for the layman fan that it is easier to blame some dude up in the booth for the teams problems rather than their favorite players.

anyone who has watched a game this year and doesn't think shula is the worst OC in the history of football is either shula's mom or blind and deaf or a saints fan.

Panthers55 - are you shula's mom?

Can I help if I am objective, look at the facts and and am not quick to throw a coach under the bus without looking at more than surface issues? As I said repeatedly, I am not a big fan of Shula and wouldn't be upset if he were replaced as long as the new guy is better.

As for being the worst in history he isn't even the worst in the league this year or our division. Tampa with their talent is far worse than us who have half the talent they do.

Now run along and come back when you actually have something worthwhile to say.
