Some hard evidence why Shula needs to be fired now.

My guess that we will still be the same old ball control ,clock eating offense, under a new OC,if Ron Rivera remains HC of the Panthers. I like Ron Rivera a lot as a person but I would like to see an offensive minded HC,one that would mold  The Panthers team into a modern NFL team, instead of the outdated 1970 and 80's concept we currently have. Granted,a team having the mindset we now operate under, with an extreme amount of luck, may max out the season at 12-4 but it could also slide down to  6-10 or 5-11,with a few injuries or setbacks.

Disagree.

Chud was completely opposite of Shula ie explosive O.

And Chud was who RR brought in to be the OC.

Shula got promoted simply because he was familiar with the O and Cam and was in house.

ie River wanted to give him a shot.

After 2 years its obvious Shula isnt the answer so I fully expect him to be fired after the season.

Gettleman must lack inspiration also. Gettleman co-authored this bullshit. He brought in players to fit this chicken poo, vanilla-marinated offense to a tee.

Yep. Gettleman looked at what players work the best in a boring offense with sh!tty play calling and came up with Kelvin Benjamin and Trai Turner. Give it a rest, man.

Whether or not Gettleman sucks has nothing to do with the topic being discussed in this thread.

Total yards is a poor measure of any offense and we have gone over this ad nauseum.  What counts in this league is points for versus points against.  The stats on offense that matter is that in 2011 we averaged 25.4 in 2012 we averaged 22.3.  Under Shula in 2013 we averaged 22.9.  in 2014 we are averaging 19.7.

Plus relative ranking on total yards like 26th versus 15th is ridiculous unless you quantify the difference.  For example in 2014 the 26th ranked team, us, is averaging 320 yards a game.  The 15th ranked offense is Seattle and they average 347 yards a game.  The 10th ranked team is at 367 yards.  So the difference between the 26st ranked team and the 10th ranked team is 47 yards which is one average drive a game.  Not that big a deal.and surely not the huge issue that the OP stated.  Plus in 2013 we actually scored slightly more points a game than Chud did in 2012.

Why not do an analysis between what we spent on offense in 2011 versus what we are spending in 2014 or other types of issues to determine what other factors might be at work here.  Like the O line or receivers or other factors.  Unless the point is to have an already preconceived notion and only use those facts which support your point.

Problem is that that when you make constant threads beating the same dead horse it isn't hard to see the nuggets of knowledge from the same tired and useless stats the OP uses as if somehow he can affect the front office by constantly complaining.

you mean promoted? he was fine as a qb coach

Was he?

He got a lot of credit for how Newton played under Chud.. But seing Newton under Shula  he  pretty much still have the same flaws as when he entered the league.

I am note so sure Shula was a good QB either. In Jax Leftwitch was not getting any better under Shula.

bullshit son several people threw shitstorms about how bad shula was

This.

Most people were like, "Crap, I guess we'll just have to hope for the best and have Cam hopefully carry the offense"

I don't remember anyone being pleased with the promotion...just a lot of...well....ok....um.....ok......
