This is risky, but is wrong to want a blue collar work ethic?

I didn't see Cam do the Superman celebration after he scored against the Saints. Did anyone see if he did it after that rushing touchdown?

But honestly I agree with the OP. When you are 1-5-1 in your last seven games, I could do without any player celebrating.

He did and his teammates were standing by waiting to congratulate him. It looked so awkward...

The OP's premise is weird with the blue collar thing but I've never liked all the silly gestures Kaep, Cam, Rodgers, etc. do but whatever.  Moose did it forever with his between the legs thing and Smitty with the spin.

When you say it out loud though it does sound kinda stupid.  He pretends to be a bird/plane pregame, pretends to be superman when he scores, and does this elaborate pointing pose when we get first downs.  It's all fun and games but it gets annoying to be brutally honest.  I think it bugs some because others have a certain tenacity that comes out in their celebrations where with Cam it always looks like fun & games.

Doesn't change my love for his play and ability though.

True, you should celebrate a good play.

I meant blue collar as just going to work and executing the plan and working as a team...and playing like you expected to be successful.

I see we are 6 points down to Sanchez...we should get some turnovers and hopefully increase our completions more than 39% or whatever the hell it was.

I'm just pissed we are back to weak offense that can't score again... not sure sure why it got under my skin, but until we get some points on the board i can do with out the showboating for every first down and TD (all players) I don't need players to tell me to get loud...

Can we get 20 point this week?

It just has to do with the current culture.  Big time players have ways to market themselves and create in essence a brand around their name.  They find a pose/celebration to do and some click.  It's like those fake wrestlers with their entrances and poses.
