The importance of going into the Bye week 5-5-1

I'd rather not draft a 'top lt' for the sake of doing so, hopefully we pick one because we really think he's the top prospect and that he'll be successful. We should never let what one player wants (real or perceived) steer the team's direction. Even cam. If he doesn't buy in then we flip him. Injuries happen, accidents happen. When teams sell out to appease one player (real or perceived) they most always get burned. I'm confident gettleman is gonna do what he's got to do to fix our tackles this offseason but I think we're gonna have to be more creative than just relying on our 1st overall pick to do it.

You want my playoff thoughts? Call me when we win one game. Just one motherfugging game and we would right back in it. But I'm not convinced we win another game this season. As easy as our schedule looks, is there any team left that we're CLEARLY better than? Tampa Bay MAYBE? We're on par with the Falcons.

I think there needs to be a complete overhaul on the line, and sadly I think that involves cutting ties with Kalil.  I think we need to take all avenues available between free agency, the draft and UDFAs.  The only guy that seems to playing relatively well on the line is Norwell (MAAYYYBBE trai turner at times), who somehow couldn't get a starting a job locked down.

Also, the line coach needs to be replaced.  There have been massive amounts of communication issues along our line ever since we got Cam.  Even though our line is pretty awful in terms of talent, these guys are failing to mesh AT ALL.  The amount of free rushers and linemen who end up not even engaging in blocks is astounding.

Dude, wtf are u talking about? Get rid of our best O-Lineman? The communication problems on the line are due to numerous injury problems, which has prevented any continuity whatsoever.

Your assessment is booboo

This comment is so bad I printed it out and burned it.

I think that's what you mean.

Do you mind elaborating on this a little bit?  I just am not sure I understand this comment at all.  If anything, the Eagles have been UNLUCKY (losing two games by a collective two yards) despite being down 2 of their 3 best OL since Week 1 & 2 respectively.   They got Jason Kelce back this week and they'll be getting Evan Mathis back next week so they're getting healthy again but given what they've overcome, I'm not sure how they're "lucky".

Lastly, this stat is telling (and certainly not lucky).

Eagles have highest point differential and the worst turnover differential in the NFC.
