We had 124 yards rushing on 23 attempts which averages out to 5.4 yards per carry!!! For a power rushing team thats a pretty nice average, especially since we were behind the entire game. I know what you are thinking...that run by Cantwell upped the average. Well if you take away that run (the longest) and Fiammatta's 4th down run (the shortest) we still average 4.8 yards per carry. Cosidering we were playing a decent team and that they are extremely deep at DL it says a lot for the starting and second string offensive line in the run game. Schwartz had a few mistakes but other than that the run game was pretty impressive for the first preseason game!!!

Let's just keep that happy thought until next weekend!!!
