No Pressure Football

I confess, during bad seasons a Sunday minus Panthers football comes as a bit of a relief.

Today, I can watch games without caring about the outcome (still hope our rivals lose, of course).

Anyone else feel the same?

 

Not me, especially this season.  In a year when I did not expect much, etc then yeah.   I DO enjoy the games, always fun watching but this year is another wasted one by our Panthers and it sucks.  Would be nice to have back to back season's when they Panthers are one of the top teams in the league, instead of watching other teams on TV who are or at least have their sh*t in order.

Used to be that a loss on Sunday would ruin my day and i'd start my work week off pissed off. I have learned not to take the losses to heart anymore. Can't let football have that much influence on your life.

These are two really good offensive lines.   Look at the running lanes, look how much time the QB's have to throw.   I'm so jealous!

i was talking to my dad about the lack of a panthers game today and the words that popped out of my mouth was that i can sleep today without being bothered by a panthers game.

i hate that is what it has become, but i don't hate getting to sleep today.

I can't agree, I watch for fantasy football purposes, but brutal losses like Thursday hurt my will to watch football more than anything.

I am not sure if i am quite ready to heave that towel at this absymal team and pull for a top 5 pick instead, or not?but thy hand is most certainly raised,ecspecially with the Eagles on the horizon or looming in the back of my mind (3-6-1)?.so,even though contrary to the fact,i guess, i will prey and pray that the bottom feeders show up in one piece, ready too play.
