No Pressure Football

I confess, during bad seasons a Sunday minus Panthers football comes as a bit of a relief.

Today, I can watch games without caring about the outcome (still hope our rivals lose, of course).

Anyone else feel the same?

I wish I could say the same. I'll be pissed if the Patriots win, if the Seahawks win, if the Bucs win, if the Eagles win, and/or 49ers win. Gotta root against teams I hate.

That's why I enjoy college Saturdays so much.

But yeah I feel the same. I'll probably hope for some of the bad teams to win today just for draft position.

You should just edit the title and make this a Week 9 (I think) Gameday thread.

Nope I love to see my team play. The panthers are almost always having a bad season lol, wouldn't be a fan if that discouraged me.

When I watch the Panthers now I'm just satisfied watching the rookies learn and grow...and get giddy when we run for more than 5 yards or actually attempt a 50+ yard field goal so exiting and no that's not a joke.

This is year may be turning into a "watch games only to hope KB gets 1300+ yards and 15 TDs" season.

I always catch other teams play because I just love the NFL and all of the other teams as well. I'm a football person by heart and I really just love the sport. I relax a little just watching other teams play.

It's easier to watch NFL after the Panthers win.  If we lose I get too jealous.

Used to be that a loss on Sunday would ruin my day and i'd start my work week off pissed off. I have learned not to take the losses to heart anymore. Can't let football have that much influence on your life.
