We have had only 5 winning seasons to 14 losing seasons. Are you f*cking kidding me? That starts at the top. He wants his GM to always hire a defensive minded coach even if he isn't qualififed. The NFL has past him by and leaving his ass behind.

But but bill belacheat and Mike Tomlin and so many good teams have defensive minded coaches.

I dont think qualifications matter much to JR. He pretty much goes with his gut everytime

The Pats have an elite QB you may have heard of. They are also high scoring. They don't count on that D.

 

Pitt might be the ONLY old school team playing in the NFL. And dislike him or not, Big Ben is pretty damned good.

 

There's a difference between "defensive minded" and "win with your defense".

But the Super Bowl winning teams for the pats and steelers all had great defense.

I said the Steelers are the team you're talking about. Every team wants a good D. The Pats win because of Brady.

 

We won last year because of our D. That D is no longer here and Cam can't win the game like Brady and Manning can.

JR is not being judged for this season just as he wasn't judged for last season. He's being judged for the body of work which extends 20 years and has no back to back winning seasons and only about 5 winning seasons. Responsibility always starts at the top. Period. Every gm and coach hired by the Panthers was signed off by JR. He's the owner of this franchise. He's done 1/2 the job well, he brought a team to Charlotte. He's miserably failed at the other half, putting a quality product on the field consistently.

We don't need a new owner, we need better fans that have a little respect and basic loyalty to the man that moved mountains to bring a franchise to Charlotte. If it wasn't for Richardson, we'd still be watching Redskins games every Sunday complaining about Dan Snyder.

 

You're an idiot. One man cannot bring a team to a city.

 

PSLs, Tax payers and simple demand had 100x more to do with it, I can't believe people still spew this garbage.

Well when the patriots defense started sucking and they had a great offense how many superbowls did he win? Fact is defense wins championships a heck of a lot more than good offenses.

Seahawks, Ravens, Bucs, Steelers, Giants, Bears, Pats

 

Colts, Saints, Packers, Rams, Broncos, Cowboys, 49ers, Redskins, Pats

 

 

If you want to win it all, more than just a one-year wonder (Bucs), you better have both a D and an O.

True but some of those teams you mentioned had a great or at least good defense to go with a great offense.
