Doubt inside BofA Cam is the future?

Isn't Wins and Losses a team stat??

While we had a top 5 scoring offense Cam's Rookie year we had the worst defense. But Cam takes blame for all those losses right.

I also love how Luck gets credit for being in a suck ass division getting 4 easy wins a year.

Playoffs play a big role in a QBs perceived worth. Is Joe Montana the greatest QB ever? If so, why? Did he break all the passing records? Nope. Did he throw for 600+ yards a game? Nope. He won. As did Elway.

But, there's more there than that. I didn't even credit Luck's wins. You brought that up. I mentioned that Luck has broken Cam's records.

You guys seriously need to lighten up when someone says Cam isn't the greatest QB ever. Because he's not.

Well if the Panthers actually did have plans to go in a different direction then Cam, there's no way they let DA walk.

No reason to start a rookie over DA until that rookie is ready. If DA stinks it up obviously he would be benched. Eventually the drat pick would take over unless DA lights it up. Either way this is getting really ahead of ourselves.

You do know Da sucks right??

I ask you a question you still haven't answered yet..

If finding QB'S are so easy.

Why haven't we drafted a Franchise QB before Cam got here.

The average age of Super Bowl winning QBs is 30.  Peyton Manning took 6 years to win his first playoff game.  Cam IS the greatest QB in NFL history after 3+ years with little supporting cast.  This thread is a world of bullchit.

Take away his legs and he is an average passer. He has been right dead in the middle when it comes to QB rating, yards, completion %, and yards per attempt. You can go ahead and pay him that mega contract that is reported for an average passing QB.

Meh, agree to disagree. You obviously haven't noticed that almost every QB taken early is playing.

His legs were taken away through his first 5 games this season and he had the best passing stats of his career by far.

He has broken some of Cams record not all.

And some people would have Elway over Montana in their QB ranking like me.

Who would you start your team with Elway, or Montana??

and that starts with Jerry Richardson. Marguide alluded to it in another thread. We take ZERO chances in this organization as far as coaching. He quoted philly's owner saying something to the affect of "to win big you have to gamble big" and they gambled on Kelly and are winning BIG TIME.

Cam is so rare, we need someone with an offensive mind like kelly who can get the most out of Cam. the fans deserve it, the organization deserves it and Cam deserves it.

I look at every year as a stepping stone for Cam. first year Cam the playmaker, second year Cam using more pro sets less read option (finally) and winning, Year 3 Cam the decision maker.

Year 4? This was suppose to be the year he puts it all together. Now I just hope he can make it out alive with his confidence still intact.

Most would agree the Front Office and decision making has been the problem for quite some time, so many opportunities missed in favor of the same ol', same ol'.

If this report has even a shred of truth it's another symptom of the problem.

It's why it's so damned frustrating at times to be a Panther fan.

Rosinski has as many Panther "sources" as I do...typical BS speculation during a losing season. I'm sure this organization is at least smart enough to realize that the last 7 games (where the entire team is struggling) doesn't trump what Cam has shown as a whole.

Yet it's still baffling that some fans think we can do better without Cam. My sources tell me Cam had a bad game, but he's not the problem.

the only records Cam still has standing is his rushing records.

As far as which QB, does it matter? In the context of my last post, those QBs are considered great because they were winners. Not because of the millions of yards and TDs they threw for (like Marino and favre), but because they won.

Wins are directly attributed to a QB.

While that is true, he was still only 10th rated QB during that span. All I'm saying is, you don't pay a QB that kind of money for an inconsistent and average passer. And it's not how you start, it's how you play throughout a whole season and currently, he is 27th among QB's. Freakkin Derek Carr has a better QB rating than Cam and you can't tell me he has a way better O-line and weapons than us.
