Cam already did that. He did that his first 2 seasons. And our offense changed. You seriously think he can't if we were in a passing offense and you gave him a little more than 3rd string options? And you mentioned several QB's, name them please. And show me where they do it on a consistent basis. The Chargers? Yea and Rivers didn't put up huge numbers in those losses either. The Cards defense, KC and Denver

 

Cam Newton has 7 300+ yard passing games in his entire career.

 

3 of them came in his first 4 starts because Chud put together an offense no one had really ever seen before in the NFL. In many ways, the hoopla and blind adoration of Newton stems from those first four starts. Look at his career since. It is stone cold mediocre from a passing standpoint.

 

As far as QB's this season playing well behind poor offensive line play, here are just a few: Luck, Rivers, Rodgers, Roetlisberger. Even Austin Davis has been playing behind an offensive line as porous in pass protection as are the Panthers and he is surpassing Newton in every statistical category. God, even Kyle Freakin' Orton is putting up numbers much better than Newton behind poor offensive line play.

Da's "Pure pocket passing" numbers aren't as good as Cam's "running QB'S" passing numbers.

then DA has over their careers.

So at what point do the facts get you to admit how idiotic this opinion is??

Probably a major key is game day play calling. 

They certainly made Cam look good his first year.

Again you're making this about DA and Cam as in who's the better QB.  I'm saying DA has a better mentality concerning skill set.  I would love to see Cam throw the ball to a quick developing route, like Aaron Rodgers did constantly with us.

He passed for 4,000 yards and 3,900 those seasons though. 3 out of those 4 all are passing offenses and even Ben is throwing it more. I won't even compare the players. I dont understand why you can't see that huge flaw. Do you see any of them running the read option or designed runs for their QB? And their olines are ranked higher than ours. Idk what you talking about or seeing. And stop mentioning these bum QB's that throw for 1 or 2 300 yard games and come back down to putting up regular numbers

I don't see where I'm wrong in my point of projecting DA in having more success with this offense, considering what DA would do and what Cam is doing right now.  If Cam was more focused on his passing skills, he would have way more success than DA could dream of.  Like I said, where are my quick routes, five receiver sets?  You can't tell me you're satisfied with the read options, designed runs, and fake pump action read options (see last drive against Seattle) at the end of games?
