Rivera: "Hardy should be in due to postponed trail"

Recommended Posts

Hardy was already found guilty. Delaying his trial doesn't change that. He's not playing because he was found guilty. If he had the retrial and was found innocent then that would be another story.

Zero chance Hardy plays again. He has no one to blame but himself. The Panthers organization has no one to blame but themselves. They could've hired a PI to look into this guys private life. All these stupid pictures of him in clubs with sunglasses on and his motorcycle injury should've been telling enough not to give him 13 million.

He needs to stop worrying about one player and start thinking about fixing his offense, which could cost him his job.

yeah, I am sure Ron just randomly brought up Hardy.

Ain't no fixing his O.  He got screwed by Gettlemen there.

If that was the reason. Then why was he not suspended the 6 games?

This has nothing to do with Hardy was found guilty and everything with the fact that Goddell messed up big time with the Rice situation and had to do something. So he did.

Yep...Hardy will come in and save the day. Jogging around the block and pumping a few weights isnt staying in football shape. At least Frank A. has been at BOA working his program, so count on him to play a bit. Hardy is done here period.

That's a good question. I assume it has something to do with the NFLPA. Most of us would rather Hardy have sat 6 games without pay and then we'd have him for the rest of the season but the NFLPA is all about money so Goodell figured it was a win-win. Removing Hardy's face from TV shuts up the social justice warriors and protecting Hardy's pay-check shuts up the NFLPA.

The old system was superior. IT erred on the side of caution. What happens if AP and Hardy are both found not guilty or charges are dropped? Then they've both lost a season. Both AP and Hardy seem like morons and I don't have much sympathy for either but eventually some innocent guy will miss a season because of a crazy broad.

Hardy coming back to the Defense will help the offense. More sacks, more pressure, more turn overs, will mask the secondary, maybe even the defense will score more, so the Offense doesn't have to worry about putting up 30+ points to beat everyone.

Hardy is a huge piece to this football team, JR should never have let the Media influence this team, especially with a trial that was clearly a witch hunt.

and if they are innocent.....then they still were never really punished.  They got there millions to chill and ensure they are healthy to play the next year.

The NFL owners are gonna react this offseason.  JR and company don't want to be getting screwed.  Only person that loses in the Hardy deal if he is innocent is Carolina.  Not Hardy.

This is the NFL. Even church softball leagues use SOBs and ringers to win games. Give me a break.

I don't care anymore, this situation is proof of just how bad it's become in the NFL. Hardy was the scapegoat for the whole Ray Rice fiasco and there's nothing you can do to fight mob mentality. I don't know if Hardy is guilty, but it's clear the media doesn't care, lets execute first and ask questions later.
