Rivera: "Hardy should be in due to postponed trail"

Recommended Posts

Hardy is going to play, probably Monday Night. When it becomes official his trial will be postponed that all but settles it that he will play.

Even if he does come back...which I doubt.

He isn't coming back to save the day.  He hasn't played a lick of football nor is he at BOA staying in shape and in the loop.

Hardy has played his last game here people....let it go

I agree he will not be playing next year, but come on he served his sentence already and the legal system is just too freakin slow. So if he wants to prove his innocence from an unrealiable, jacked up, gold-digging ***** of a woman, he needs to sit out the whole year? vs 6 games if he wanted to get it over with. Curse public opinion, this cat gets over 700k every week to sit at home while the rest of the team is getting hurt on the field, busting their asses.

He is getting paid to play a gladiator sport in football. This is not baseball where there is no contact. There is a chance he never plays again if he has to suit up. That would be a real punishment. This is currently a reward he is getting from Jerry Richardson.

PUT THE MAN IN THE GAME ALREADY!

Glad Rivera is speaking up about it.  I'm not his biggest fan, but he's been dealt a really shitty hand by Gettleman and the organization this season.  No OL, a very weak secondary, one legit WR and then his best DL essentially gets indefinitely suspended by the NFL with no conviction and the Panthers just bend over and take it.

Wrong. Our D would be #1 for the rest of the season from the morale they would get with his return, and he would dominate.

if the Tampa game was 5 quarters we would have lost that one with Greg Hardy on the field.

Once McCown settled in late and quit just literally sabotaging his own team (going full retard).....he carved us up with ease on back to back touchdown drives with ease bringing them within a score to win.  And if Tampa didn't drop that should of been INT Anderson threw.....I think Tampa would have beat us b/c that would have lead to his 3rd straight TD drive.

Moral of the story.  Regardless of how good one aspect of your team is (DL, QB, etc).....surround them with slop and it will bite you.  Secondary last season wasn't bad.  It was actually decent.  This year it is bad....and Hardy can't fix that.

Greg Hardy isn't sitting at home because he's awaiting trial.

He's sitting at home because the NFL was embarrassed over the mess they made with their poor handling of domestic violence issues.

Rather than actually hold anybody in the League office accountable, they want to keep Hardy out of sight and hope everybody forgets that he exists.

Until that changes, which it probably won't, I doubt there's anything done.

Yep.

NFL doesn't even have a policy or guideline for what to do. They threw it out the window and literally are just making up stuff right now. Small market team with losing record.....no one is going pay Hardy any attention.

Also, I have noticed most media outlets when they mention Hardy have simply stated he is out for the season now.

Too late.  Should have been back for the Seahawks game.  Even the 6 games would have been an injustice, but would have at least made sense.  As a diehard fan and season ticket holder since day 1, this BULLCHIT honestly mades me question my fandom.  At best, it's gonna take some getting over andor some proof (which doesn't exist) that JR cares more about us than he does the league.  It's such an insult to our intelligence how anyone could think taking 10% of our salary cap away is OK.
