I would go mad if we took a CB with an extra 1st round pick.  Makes much more sense to grab a big time receiver, a RB, or a DE.  We need more of a threat at the receiving spot, our running game sucks, and we have hardly no pass rush.

1st RD - Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford

1st RD - Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin

2nd RD - Devin Funchess, WR, Michigan (I like this pick)

3rd RD - Devonte Fields, DE, TCU

Pick up a CB in the free agency.  Maybe draft a corner with a late round pick.  We have other important needs.

Our offense can't stay on the field meaning our defense is always on the field and they can only do so much.  Once we get our offense going that can sustain a long productive drive, that would keep our defense fresh.  Plus, working on our pass rush would help take the pressure off the secondary.  We need another 2013 type of defense.

With what money? and better question, who? I'm tired of working with a patched up secondary.

Norman is only looking better bc the two who started before him were White and Cason, both whom are TERRIBLE.

Corner is just as big a problem as OT. If you watched the game last night, our defense was shredded through the air, not ground. We stopped the run and got to the QB plenty of times.

Pass rushing is not a problem. Ealy is looking better and better. We're a secondary away from being a really, really damn good defense.

1st- Shawn Oakman:  OL and DB needs are glaring but honestly Oakman would be just as big for the D.  Our DBs were no where near this bad prior to Hardy being gone.  Melvin White was much much better prior to Hardy leaving.  Reason why;  Hardy was a good pass rusher but also was a d@mn good in run D on the end.  Without him teams can run on us non stop, very rarely leaving opportunities for 3rd and long where the pass rushers can thrive.  We can get the db's but really its not going to change that much with this D the way our db's play zone.  Our strength was the front 7 so might as well get back to that.  We lost A LOT last year.  Might as well fix the holes we lost from last year to maintain what we had last year which was good.  Then worry about the other positions.  Oakman is a big athletic guy who is really good in run support and pass rush, filling Hardy's hole

1st- La'el Collins: Big boy who can open some holes for our RB's we are still tied up with and better pass blocker than anyone on our roster now.

2nd- Devante Parker: name many seem to forget, kid almost came out last year and some had him high as 2nd round in the super deep WR class, kids injury which forced which caused him to miss first half of season caused his name to fall off.  Guy has looked awesome since his return and would be an awesome #2

3rd- Daryl Williams: good pass blocker for a RT, had a GOOD showing at LT vs Alabama last year.  Good run blocker.  Future is RT in the NFL but can play LT if needed.  Again better than any OT on our current roster.

4th- Laken Tomlinson: dont know Amini's future, kid has the tools to be a stud LG in the NFL.  If Amini comes back from injuries, we have good depth, if not not have someone to slide in.

We patched our holes we lost after last year.  Our front 7 is back to top of NFL, we have a young OL with potential and light years better than todays.  To protect our franchise QB and open holes for our guys taking up all our money smash and dash.

Like Oakman a lot, but he's a legit top 8-10 pick.
