I think we can beat the Eagles. Maybe not the way we played last 2 weeks, but the way we will play next week, and the week after that, and the weeks after that.

Nothing is more annoying than defeatism. It is the easy route. If you say it is over you can't be disappointed. Either you already prepared to lose and knew it all along, or you're pleasantly surprised if we win. But that is for the weak. It is a device to protect you from your own emotions.

I believe we can play better and will play better. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe they will dissapoint me again. It will hurt. But i would rather absorb that pain by believing this team can turn it around than walk around kicking rocks and moping around talking about "it's over"

Richardson is going to want a Defensive-minded coach, regardless, so keep laughing, dunce. Like I've said a hundred times, the whole point of having a nationally-renown, generally successful head coach like Cowher instead of an "experimental" guy like Rivera is a guy like Cowher erases all doubt about whether or not Cam Newton is the problem. If Cam struggles under Cowher, very few people will blame the coach. Bring in another first-time head coach and it'll still be almost evenly split if Cam struggles, especially if the play-calling appears to suck like it does now. 

 

This is why I wanted Rivera replaced with Cowher two years ago. Everyone would know about Cam Newton for sure by now, one way or the other. Unfortunately, I'm not as shortsighted as many I encounter.

Well, we will see how it unfolds. I am only saying that what I see is a noncompetitive team so far. That easy schedule won't be so easy if we keep prancing out there unprepared and with lesser talent than the opposition each week. I have a strange feeling that the teams that you say is in the easy part of our schedule, have us in the easy part of their schedule as a guaranteed win. Constitution lol. How about we just don't have a optimistic feeling about this team, this year. I mean. Why would we?

Got to look past our record and actually watch a Panther game. They are horrible and if not for a fluke gimme FG, would be 3-6. No run, No Pass, No D, No Special Teams. How is that going to help us win the division. You dont win in the nFL by default, they are not going to give us the division. 2 More losses and we are out of the playoffs. 

 

Bad teams miss opportunities and give opportunities. I think that is what RR keeps saying. We are bad and we have to quit being bad to win.
