Diggs for DT....

this is still a Fox/Hurney ball club.......they will wait until some average DT is cut (one who never lived up to the hype and lived up to what he was projected to do in the league) and sign him.....but grab two of these type guys. I don't see a trade going down b/c it is going to cost picks.

Trade Keydrick Vincent maybe?

Hell no. Duke is not ready to replace the stud that Vincent is. I would be willing to trade Diggs and Landon Johnson. Leman and Anderson were looking sharp, based on what I say last night(which i know is premature). I could see maybe trading Rosario but he doesn't hold much value except potential.

No trade scenario is worth parting ways with any of our RB/WR/OL/DE or secondary. LB is the only real option to offer, other wise we lose too much.

I don't see that being possible this year. Any DT that would get cut that we would want to sign would first have to clear waivers and because the Panthers had a 12-4 season last year they are so far down the waiver wire that it will be very hard for any quality DT to clear to us. At least that is how I understand it.

Yeah but who is dumb enough to trade for a guy who isn't the clear starter here anyway. He was last year, but I think Leman, Connor or another one of the young guys could replace him this year, because he's not that valuable. I just suggested Vincent because he's valuable to us, therefore he'd be valuable to someone else. And in order to get someone of value in return we have to give up something.

But as Delhommey said, when was the last time you saw a player for player trade in the NFL. We're either gonna sign a guy or trade picks, simple as that.

I agree I just hope we don't give up too many picks. Otherwise I could see DWill or Peppers getting traded next year, as much as I would hate to see that happen we have to be able to draft.

Well, like I said a "baseball" type of trade with a slew of younger prospects to a rebuilding team might be how they will have to work this if they don't want to give up too much on the draft pick front. And yes, we can't just trade players we are happy to get rid of, it just doesn't work that way.

As for Robertson, I think that since no team including the Panthers have signed him tell you something about his ability to play. Those knees of his may just be done.
