Diggs for DT....

HELL no! I would hope that they wouldnt be dumb enough to break up on of the best o-lines in the game.
We did pretty good without him last year. And Duke Robinson might be able to step right in. We have to give up something of value to get something... I just think he'd be more appealing to other teams than Diggs, and he has some value at position we're pretty well off at.

We did alright with seasoned backups like Hangartner. Duke might be physically ready, but the mental portion of offensive guard play in the NFL has a pretty steep learning curve. It's not quite as simple as stepping in and playing tackle ala Otah.

Trading Vincent is probably the worse thing we could do. Sure the run blocking will remain constant.. but the pass blocking won't. Duke Robinson is a road grader, but i would consider him a liability on the same side as otah. Veterans can at least somewhat help mask the deficiencies in their neighbors.

Diggs is very possible. However I think we might see more of a "baseball" type of trade with a team that is in a rebuilding mode. Several younger guys that have some experience for a vet DT or a younger up and coming DT. I guessing that this thought process may be the same that Gantt has and why he is mentioning Dorsey. KC just lost Tony Gongales and they are switching to a 3-4 defense.

So lets say Rosorio (TE), Taylor (DE/OLB) and Wilson (CB) plus 4th round pick for Dorsey (DT) and a 5th or 6th round pick. Would they take that? I'm not sure but I could live with that.

taylor-NO...rosorio i don't want to c him go-MAYBE...wilson-YES...4th round pick-YES....idk i don't think KC would trade Dorsey, but i'm all for it as long as we don't trade rosorio and taylor

Then who are you going to trade? You are not going to get something for nothing. I wouldn't want to see any of those players traded away but I also don't want to see Hayden and Lewis ever start again at DT for the Panthers. While I would hate losing Wilson and Taylor ( I realy could care less about Rosario) it would be worth it.
