Rivera had no real comment on why Olsen is not utilized more.

 

Olsen was utilize a lot in the first half..... AS A BLOCKER!!    Every time Cam was in shotgun Olsen was back there in one of the RB positions blocking.  For the life of me I do not understand why they couldn't put one of their other TE's there to do that and let Olsen run a route.  

 

Being a fan of this Panther organization is extremely frustrating.

Roman Harper had no problem sticking a defenseless tight end in the flat but he was grabbing for ankles when faced with Mark Ingram. Mike Mitchell woulda knocked that ugly fug on his back. Mike Minter too. Roman Harper can shut his mouth when he's shying from contact.

If anybody watched the game you can see Olsen in the back-field helping to block more than he has in his career

 

Yep... I just posted about that responding to another in this thread about Olsen.  On almost every shotgun in the first half, Olsen was in the backfield blocking.

Olsen was like Foucalts little buddy telling him what to do and helping him make blocks. Eventually the defensive ends figured out they could avoid Olsen by going through Foucalt.

 

The game changed for the worse when we left Foucalt 1v1 and sent Olsen on a route. They stripped Cam and "recovered" it.

Why not put Dickson or Williams in the backfield to help block and replace Avant or Cotchery in the passing game with Olsen? We literally negate our best receiver in Olsen to make him block.

I know you love Cam, but he's not being TOLD to force passes to certain people. Jesus christ.

 

IT'S OKAY to admit Cam isn't perfect. He's a VERY GOOD QB. Not elite. He may be elite one day. But for crying out loud, it's ok to admit he's made a mistake. It doesn't make you less of a fan.

KB one on one in the redzone we're going to him. He's a big body. Let's not forget he's dropped 2 back to back touchdowns. We've ran and can run plays for olsen down there. We just haven't lately

He had to babysit tonight. Nothing is wrong with DWill. If an opponent has trouble stopping a play why not keep going to it? Why didn't you use Greg Olsen LAST WEEK??? I'm sorry. I've tried to be respectful because I like the guy but the OC has no control of this offense no method. He seems to try to fool opponents but only ends up fooling himself. It's not rocket science. I dont think he's the man to fix this. Sorry. I'd so be on the phone with Indy and Chud right now but that's just me. I'd rather Cam put up 400 and have this defense to go with it into next year. Ron better save his ship. This offense, whatever it is, has no character and no method. "Feed The Stud!!!". It's not rocket science. Yeah, next year :-/ They better pay Cam and Luke. No questions asked. They're all you got. Do it.
