Cam is high

top dawg

IKR!?!?!?! It's not like we went 12-4 last year. I mean, It's not like he has set around 14 fuging records or anything.  Let's just go to the Franchise QB bag and get us a goodun! lol Im disgusted.

Just stop man. Cam looked horrible in a lot of games last year too. His rookie year has really skewed his stats over the years. The last three years, he has been below average in statistics and has a below average QB rating. He still has zero pocket awarness, still doesn't put touch on balls, still has accuracy problems, and still overthrows. Enough is enough. It is now proven that Cam needs an elite defense to win games.

Brees just threw a perfect pass with a lineman right against his torso.

Stop the excuses.

Is there a lineman right against his torso every time he passes it? If not, then you didn't make a point, you're just dumb enough to think you did.

Anybody can make a good throw under pressure if they aren't being hurried every single time.

WHERE THE FUG is a gif of that pass across the middle to Ted Ginn from last year's Saints game?

My problem isn't people saying Cam had a bad game. I agree.

My problem isn't that people are saying that he's had a couple bad games in a row. I agree.

My problem isn't that people are saying that Cam has had a bad year. I DISagree, but whatever.

My problem is with people implying or flat out stating that he's not our guy. He's already proven he's our guy. ALREADY. ALREADY. It's done. It's finished. That conversation is done.

If you wanna argue about whether or not he'll ever be elite. Have at it. But he is our Franchise QB, point blank serious. How someone can watch him play the first three years and not come to that conclusion baffles me.

Now, since that's been settled. CAM stop throwing high!!

He legitimately had some of those issues prior to his coming here. Won't argue that. And yeah, he made progress on some but has regressed since.

But I know he was conditioned to it because I've seen it before.

This is how the Texans ruined David Carr, and although Blaine Gabbert wasn't that good to start off with the Jags did him the same way.

And now we're watching it here...

Its also possible that he is just average. We are an average team. I'm cool with Cam but a mega deal franchise QB he may never be

You moron how many franchise QB have we drafted in 20 years genius...

I know we went to the SB with an undrafted qb surrounded with a great team even though everyone was calling for Dan Henning's head.

I know we drafted Kerry Collins in the 1st round and we know how that turned out.  I know we drafted Clausen in the second round and we saw how that turned out.  No QB we've drafted has ever worked out.

I know that AZ has the best record in the league right now and they've had several qbs play this year.  I know AZ beat our ass last year with a mediocre qb.

This is the level of intelligence and retort this man is on. That should tell you something about his ability to speak on football.

I"ll never speak football with you. You came in this thread talking about me. Go back to Atlanta and help your mom with that dick in her mouth.

Sooo....what's changed in the last three years? It's obvious you have an agenda. You behave as though poo  is static or merely happens in a vacuum.

It's a cumulative effect, though.

Like I said, for Brees it's an exception.  Not so for Newton.

If you were getting hit in the face once in a while, you could fight through it.  When it's all the time?  Not so easy.

Mr. Scot, I respect your football acumen.

I'd just argue that Cam wouldn't get hit in the face so much if he wasn't trying to force the ball down field every single play.  If you go back and you look at the film you'll see he had open receivers in the flats and underneath that he just ignored.  When he did throw short they usually turned into very positive plays.

I guess this might go back to the Air Coryell vs WCO debate.

I have no problem blaming Newton for anything I feel is his responsibility.

He does have poor touch. He throws rockets when he should throw softballs. A lot of his passes are on too flat a trajectory. His footwork is still bad and he's very inconsistent.

But you have to understand why a lot of that is happening, and his being constantly under pressure because of a porous offensive line is absolutely a huge reason.

I'm sorry, I just don't buy that.

It may play some part sure, but to blame a porous o line for newton's trajectory, and touch is BS. There were multiple clean pocket throws that he just missed or forced into coverage.
