This will get Goddell axed one way or the other. The precedent now is that you cannot play if you are charged for anything, misdemeanor or felony. The way NFL players in general behave teams will have to pay players for not doing anything and on top of that pay the players there is going to replace those players and so on.

 

So the owners will lose money.

 

On top of that, the product will be poo, and leads to more money lost from the owners.

 

Its been proven that precedents mean absolutely nothing.  The precedent for years, prior to the RR video being made public, was for players to continue playing until their charges were adjudicated, then if found guilty they paid the penalty.  Then that went out the window but we all know it won't stay this way forever, or probably even beyond this season.  Hell, SF has a guy that looks pretty damn guilty playing every week right now and, I assume, since he hasn't charged (and I bet he won't be until the offseason, wink wink) he can play with absolutely no repercussions whatsoever. 

 

This is a one time thing and it really sucks that we are getting fugged because nobody with the power to get this handled in an equitable manner has the balls to do so.  Instead, they hide like  a bunch of pussy ass bitches and screw over our team, and we not only let them, we actively participate for some reason.
