This will get Goddell axed one way or the other. The precedent now is that you cannot play if you are charged for anything, misdemeanor or felony. The way NFL players in general behave teams will have to pay players for not doing anything and on top of that pay the players there is going to replace those players and so on.

 

So the owners will lose money.

Hardy hasn't been sentenced to jail time, his trial is still pending and he's currently innocent in the eyes of the law. There's a good chance he'll be found not guilty. That's the problem with this, people shouldn't be railroaded before they've even had due process. The fact that he's missing MORE time by fighting for his innocence than he would have if he had plead guilty is just insane.
