Cam is good against the blitz... When team gets pressure with only four he struggles. I'd never blitz Cam.

 

That's not why they are not blitzing. He is not making the throws. Rob Ryan must be loving this.

The Saints were going to score, it was only a matter of time. The defense has played lights out. Stopped NO several times and given the offense so many opportunities with short fields and TOs. What has the offense done? Nothing.

 

Newton is 5 out 15 for 47yds. There is something wrong.

 

OL was decent but then turned awful, but yeah Newton has been off even on some plays where he's had time.

 

Being under constant pressure can really mess a QB up.  They start to feel it even when it's not there.

None of that has anything to do with Ron letting Cam drop back inside his own 5 yard line on 3rd and long. Nor give the Saints the ball back with plenty of time on the clock. Sometimes you play defense with ball control. Specifically in high risk, low reward situations.

A good coach plans and adjusts, I guess Shula cannot help that he sucks too.

Cam has to carry this team because if he doesnt he should be the one that is benched.........Makes sense.

 

If he wants to get paid like 4 or 5 guys combined, then he should make up for it. 

 

 

If he needs absolutely everything to be successful then he's not a legit franchise qb on the field.  He is in the media.  Not on the field. I'm tired of his hype.
