The hornets are more loved actually

In and around Charlotte, absolutely. I think it will take some time to convert other NC areas, especially along Tobacco Road where understandably college basketball is the winter sport.

What makes the Hornets such a big hit right now is the fact that they are back SOLELY because of the fans. Obviously Tom Benson had to buy New Orleans first and change it, but it was the grassroots movement to get the name back that galvanized the overwhelming support needed to sway management when they asked the community what they wanted. Since the fans took on such a major role, it makes them feel more like a part of the team. Obviously that's an edge the Panthers just don't have right now, but lock in Cam and start building a winning team around him and the tone will change.

The ppl working at the Hornets game were all smiles and cutting up with the fans and each other. It was a very relaxed and excited vibe.

At the Panthers game it looks and feels like the scene from Indiana Jones with the kids chained in the mines. Employees looks so beaten and miserable. Kind of like Wal-Mart employees.

Still am a Panthers first guy, but boy last night was the poo.
