Anyone else slightly concerned?

All preseason our D was piss poor. Was thinking maybe it was just due to it being the preseason. But then, same thing happened in our opener. It is still early so I might be worrying about nothing. But something is just off with this team defensively. Giving up a lot of easy baskets. 

 

Great comeback and fight from the team tonight. Hopefully, we can get back to being an elite defensive team quick. 

 

Annoys the hell out of me to see us giving up all kinds of layups and easy buckets around the basket.

I am a little but I also think it'll take a little time for the guys to gel. There's 2 new players in the starting lineup and sometimes it takes time for them to gel.

I expect the team to make a move before the deadline for a big.

 

But in the meantime, this is still a winning team. Adding 2 new players to the starting 5 takes time to develop defensive chemistry. When to help, floor spacing in the zone, etc.

Cliff just explained that Lance hasn't been practicing. Our guys need time to gel on defense. We don't have a classic rim protector so the entire team has to play D together.
