ALL IS NOT LOST

After a bit of analysis, and a bit of rum, it looks like the Panthers currently have the easiest second half strength of schedule in the NFL.

If the dumpster fire can be put out, and they can pull off 5 of the final 8, they will end up at 8-7-1. That record got Green Bay into the playoffs last year. Philly away and New Orleans away are tough ones, but none of the other games can be ruled out.

Also, I've shown my work. See attached. The file is a little busy, I know. Just go by the color shading. Green=Easy, Red=Hard, season broken up into 4 quarters, with current number of wins by opponents. Enjoy.

Let the optimism and/or calling me an idiot begin!!

This week has to be the worst in terms of O-Line health so far. You do, however, make a valid point. Plus the Saints play all of their difficult remaining opponents at home. It's safe to say that no wild card team will come out of this division, so it's time to get it going.

If we lose tomorrow it is pretty much over. If this team can't beat the Saints at home with the Saints on an even shorter week... Then...... Welp

Pretty much sums it up. This game might also be the last straw for Ron and crew too if we lose.

I mean... I kinda agree I guess, but we would only be .5 games behind with our easiest schedule still ahead, so that might be over dramatic

I think that might be pushing it a little far. 2013 Coach of The Year won't be fired for what would likely be a 7-8-1 season plagued by injuries. If they lose all the remaining games....then you might have a point.

I don't think it is over-dramatic at all. We'll still need to play Philly, the Saints again (at the Dome), and one game in the Georgia Dome.

That's on top of the Browns, who are better than anticipated and run a 34 defense.
