 Egos don't bother me one bit but probably because I have one myself.  Most of the time I could care less about who is calling and game but listening to Nessler and Mayock call a game will put me to sleep faster than a Matlock or Murdrer She Wrote rerun.

The Thursday Night games have been fuging people for as long as the NFL has been doing them. I hate these games, and for this reason. Not sure if its been mentioned, but if you can, you can download the NFL APP and watch/listen to the game on your phone. I did this while I was working at Walmart a few years back.

I missed the giants game in 2012 (thankfully) in chapel hill because time warner didn't carry NFL network then. There were no local stations carrying the game either.

I'm in the triad so I won't be seeing the game. I have a friends TWC account information but it won't let you watch certain channels if your using TWC TV away from home.

 

It's the biggest game of the season and many of us will be missing it. How is that good for the NFL?

i think i finally found a stream near halftime when we were down 17 or 20-0

 

i subjected myself to re-watching it on game rewind from the beginning some time later.  you could tell from the first drive they were just going to beat our ass.  beason was falling apart before our very eyes - i remember bradshaw taking a handoff and just running him over early in the game.

The McCartney concert, from reading reviews, lasts about 3 hours from 8:00 plus travel time. All the more reason for the hotel to show the game in the bar on the tv that is easily seen for everyone. It will be dead until about 11:45. I like the idea of splitting the cable feed and taping it to the ceiling. Sometimes when you eliminate all the improbable all you have left is the impossible. Then set up a special tip jar for the "cable guy" because you'll need the money when you lose your job.

yep I remember that. some of my buddies were watching it with me. one is a "patriots fan" but a bigger "panthers hater" so he routed for the Giants. He couldn't understand why he should hate the Giants more than the Panthers
