Will Big Al hit free agency?

He would be stupid not to opt out this offseason especially if he puts up a similar season.

That contract worries me more than kemba. Al is a rare commodity and will be on the other side of thirty over the life of the contract with a history of injuries. Hopefully we get a hometown discount since it seems like he's finally found a home in the league after all these years but I'm not holding my breath on that.

Do you think they resigned  Walker now because it might make it easier for Big Al to stay a Hornet?

By God, you're right! But I think we resigned Kemba because he has been the face of the franchise since he came to the organization and we feel like he still has alot of room to grow.

At the end of the day you can cater to every whim of a free agent but if he feels like there's a better situation out there he will leave (see James, LeBron)

I think that James might represent the minority of players in his position.  Most of the time though players resign if they like where they're at and money isn't the issue.
