I can entirely see the comparison between KB and Graham. Gotta throw in the fact that Kelvin is, more often than not, going to line up on the outside. His game depends on being able to physically overpower defenders, sure, but speed plays a more important role to what he does than what Graham brings to the table.

Jimmy Graham is lined up in the slot or on the line, getting covered by linebackers pretty much all the time. KB lines up against opposing corners and safeties and dominates them. Jimmy Graham 1 on 1 with Aqib Talib last year? Stat line was 0-0-0. They are not nearly the same players and while they both do provide matchup issues, they are not the same matchups.

Talib shut Jimmy down. But Talib is a special kind of corner. Anyone calling Jimmy soft cause of that one game is ridiculous.

Jimmy was shadowed by Joe Haden against the Browns earlier in the year, who many think is the best pure man coverage corner in the league. His stat line? 10-118-2. Go ahead and cherry pick that one game out of a great career if it makes you feel better.

Let me know when Jimmy Graham is getting double covered by the likes of Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas.  Graham is a TE and gets played by most defenses as what he is - a dangerous, elite TE.  Benjamin is a WR and gets played by most defenses as what he is - a dangerous #1 WR.
